Well...the Van Zalinge uses a special pickup. Don&#039;t have much info on this (anyone else?). My ebass is equipped with an Underwood piezo pickup, but there are many more pickups available. Piezo&#039;s will probably give you a better sound, but you&#039;ll mostly need a preamp to get the best out of it.
