Pickup:

  • Underwood piezo pickup. Classic, but good.

  • Thomastik “Spirocore”, low B string.

Preamp:

  • Fishman pro-EQ platinum bass. Very good preamp and well optimised for double basses.

Effects:

  • Boss ME-50B, though mainly used as tunes and volume pedal. At times, I use the Wahwah and octaver.

Amps:

Large gigs: 18″ Fane speaker with Roland PA. Died. I’m considering Ampeg, Eden, Markbass or Ashdown.
