Electric Upright Bass Site

I have built an electric upright bass, together with Philippe from Aalta Minimoa Maquettes. We created the bass in 2003 and 2004. From that time I play it, mostly in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The sound of the bass is very warm, the tone very rich and of course it is easy to carry and amplify. I use it mostly for hiphop, funk, groovejazz and latin music. People from the audience enjoy the deep sound of the bass. Of course, an electric bass always sounds different from an acoustic bass, but the EUB adds interesting possibilities for playing groovy music!
